I felt so honoured to hear that The Duchess of Edinburgh’s String Orchestra played the first and fifth movements of Clan at the investitures at Holyrood Palace last month. This 24 member group is the only full time string ensemble in the British Army. It’s truly wonderful to know that Clan was chosen to be played by such a fine orchestra, in such a beautiful setting, on such a special occasion.
