I’m in the middle of proof reading Wild Cello – my new beginner cello and piano book which is being published in April. Proof reading is the least exciting part of the job, but absolutely essential. I always try to do it over a few days, but, in my experience, however thoroughly you check, you always miss something. I’m lucky that Kevin Mayhew’s excellent editor and typesetter – Donald Thomson – is so good.
